October 31 will be the last Market of the 2009 season. It’s Halloween, so of course there will be pumpkins for the kids to decorate. Mim Meakin will again provide inspiration for the kids. Frank Perry donated the pumpkins, and Chris Bierwagen has provided apples for the “goodie bags.”
The Market is 8-noon at the Fairgrounds, Gate 4. Pumpkin decorating will be 9-11. See our Calendar page for more info.
The Nevada County Certified Growers’ Market is now approved to accept Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program coupons at all of our Markets. Look for the purple WIC signs at our approved vendors’ booths.
