Nevada County Growers Market

Nevada County Certified Growers’ Markets are held seasonally from April through November in Grass Valley, Nevada City, and Penn Valley.  We are adding a new market this June 2012 at Sierra Knolls Winery. The new market is located off of Highway 49, 2 miles south of Combie Road. View our Calendar  

Markets feature local farm-fresh fruit, vegetables, honey, nuts, eggs, nursery stock, cut flowers, herbal products, olive oil, baked goods, pasture-raised meats and more. Also, find pottery, dog treats and other surprises.

The Saturday market is now at the beautiful North Star House in Grass Valley. Only 1/2 mile down Auburn Road from the Nevada County Fairgrounds, the new location is graced with the 1905 Julia Morgan house and surrounding park-like grounds. The market features live music every week.  On the first Saturday of every month, renowned local water color artist Mim Meakin will provide inspiration and instruction for children.

Plenty of free parking. Convenient restrooms. Evergreens provide shade for those who linger.
